We are located on beautiful Ambergris Caye – the largest of the Belizean islands. Our waterfront property is on Ambergris Bay, locally known as “Secret Beach”, which is on the island's west side where the waters are clear and calm, and the color of turquoise. The breezes are softer, and the night skies are brilliantly starlit, with an abundance of adventures just footsteps away. The west side of the island is perfect for sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fly and flats fishing, and bird watching, to name a few. Spend your day relaxing by the pool or sitting on our beach and swimming in the sandy shallow waters. Restaurants and bars are a quick walk away.
The owners, Cynthia and David, have weaved their British and Spanish heritages together to create a beautiful and exotic sanctuary with fanciful gardens, breathtaking views that immerse you in tropical tranquility, and unique luxury accommodations.
The complex consists of six buildings, five of which are guest casitas. The main building offers two guest lounges, a first floor “Moët” lounge is open air and is where a delicious Belizean or homestyle breakfast is served to get you ready for some adventure in this tropical land. The lounge can be used at any time, is great place to gather, and offers an assortment of games for your enjoyment. The second lounge is our rooftop lounge, and is the place to be for spectacular sunsets, star gazing, or rum tasting (which we can arrange). If you are an early bird, you can also see sunrise emerging from here. The vast 360-views provide a breathtaking perspective of our tropical island and its surrounding waters, and on a clear day you can see Mexico from this elevated vantage point. Just a great place to lounge and linger.
Every detail of your trip is of our utmost importance, beginning with meeting you at the airport or water taxi when you reach the island and escorting you back to Casa Cava, to happily assisting in booking you a trusted and knowledgeable tour company or guide… everything from your golf cart rental, snorkeling, diving, fishing, and jet skiing, to Mayan ruins, cave tubing, and zip lining in the jungle, we are ready to help… no worrying about who to use, we have done the vetting for you!
