San Pedro ~ Shopping, Dining & Nightlife
There's always something happening on Ambergris Caye, venture into downtown San Pedro and you will find everything from dancing to enjoying good music. Many restaurants and bars feature live entertainment, including bands and solo performers playing country, rock, and local music. The town often hosts concerts or events. There are even outdoor movie screens at popular "Moon Bar" and "Truck Stop".
Now about the FOOD! The food here in Belize is amazing. Most folks say that they have never had a bad meal here. Once you book your stay with Casa Cava we will provide you with a list of our favorite dining places.

Ambergris Caye doesn't have large shopping malls but offers quaint small clothing & gift shops, local artisan works, and art galleries. Some shops can arrange safe shipping for your purchases.
Paddleboard, Kayak, Jet Ski, Parasail
At Casa Cava, we offer our guests free use of paddleboards and kayaks, and if you are a qualified sailor use our sunfish.
Jet skis and kite surfing can be rented just down the road at Secret Beach.
Parasailing can be booked only on the east side of the island.
Snorkel & Diving
Ambergris Caye is renowned as a premier dive destination, attracting visitors for its exceptional diving and snorkeling sites nearby. Local dive shops provide full gear rentals and offer certification at all levels through PADI and NAUI. They also organize daily trips to the reef and other local dive spots, with options for one, two, or three tank dives, including night dives.
For those who do not dive or have never snorkeled, the Hol Chan Reserve, Shark Ray Alley, and other coral gardens offer an equally exhilarating experience. You can snorkel in just three feet of water alongside brightly colored parrotfish or drift over the 60-foot depths of the Caribbean Sea beyond the reef, marveling at the captivating underwater world of this marine paradise. You can plan an excursion to safely snorkel with the nurse sharks and sting rays, its is an amazing experience!
Fishing
Whether you are looking for some casual fun or are a dedicated fly or sports fisherman, you can find the perfect fishing tour on the island. You can catch your supper with a tour guide/fisherman or ask about highly skilled fly-fishing guides who protect their “secret” fishing spots. If you're interested in big game fishing, several places offer deep-sea fishing excursions, and the country hosts several tournaments annually.
Sailing Excursions
